About The Event
What a Waste is the UK's most authentic Ian Dury & The Blockheads tribute act brought to you by six totally committed musicians with a love & respect for the music of The Blockheads & the poetry of Ian Dury. It's a live experience that faithfully recreates the humour, poetry and expert musicianship of one of the UK’s most original, diverse and unique bands:

Venue: the Marquee
Tickets online: £16.00 (includes £1.00 booking fee) / £19 on the door (as long as we are not sold out!).
**It really helps the band and our venue to plan ahead if you can pre purchase.
Time: doors open at 7.30pm. Band starts at 8.15/8.30pm.
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled, in which case you will be offered an exchange to another date, or a refund. By purchasing tickets, you agree to these terms.
Attending events
Our Band Nights are generally standing events. There is limited seating available around the room at the rear, on a first-come, first-served basis. We advise that if you want a seat to arrive early when the doors open.
If you have a disability and need a seat please get in touch with us in advance to make arrangements!
Please remember, it is important that you do not attend The Beaverwood if you have Covid, or anything else nasty. If notified in advance, (by 12 noon at the latest on the day of the gig), we can transfer your ticket to another Band Night.
Access
The Club House has now been demolished and is being redeveloped - please excuse our appearance while we build a fantastic new venue! Access is via a flat footpath with handrail approximately 70 metres long. It is suitable for wheelchairs.
