About The Event
Space Elevator was formed by guitarist David Young and flamboyant lead singer The Duchess. Releasing their debut album in 2014, the band produced a contemporary rock album that draws on the influences of the best and biggest bands in rock history. Performing well crafted rock songs with great dynamics and powerful playing, supporting lush vocal harmonies and instantly memorable melodies, the songs are delivered brilliantly by The Duchess. Music Riot comments: "The Duchess is impossible to ignore. The voice is big and she commands stage centre with hyperactive moves and catsuit set to stun. Throw in that extra bit of onstage exhibitionism and you've got the perfect rock package."
The British band is completed by stellar musicians Brian Greene on Drums and Chas Maguire on Bass.
Space Elevator brings a modern approach to the golden age of rock when bands entertained thousands of fans with their music, their creativity and their stunning live shows. The band's album Space Elevator II was released in 2018.
"The Duchess gives it enough theatricality to make Freddie Mercury sound like a shrinking violet!'" Prog Rock
"The Duchess presents a new kind of showwoman, that the world has not yet seen. And not only is she a captivating performer but her vocal range is outstanding both live and recorded." Amazon
